Service Details

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor John Austin officiating. Military honors will be conducted following services under the auspices of the American Legion Hice-Shutes Post #170. A video of the service is available here.

Obituary Notice

Christopher John “C.J.” Hoeppner, age 22, of Three Rivers, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at his home. He was born in Dearborn, MI, on October 12, 1998 the son of David and Marey (Pierson) Hoeppner.

Christopher was raised in Three Rivers and graduated from Three Rivers High School in 2017. He served his country honorably in the United States Army as a Cavalry Scout from 2018 until his recent leave. C.J. was very involved in Choir during high school and loved to play Military Games with his friends where he went under the surname “Master Chief.” C.J. was also a proud member recently of the Three Rivers Eagles where he made many friends.

Christopher leaves to cherish his loving memory, his parents, David and Marey Hoeppner, one sister, Stephanie (Brandon) McCollum; two brothers, David (Nicole) Hoeppner Jr., and Joshua (Hailey) Hoeppner; his two grandmas and one grandpa, Jean & Donald Angell and Sandy Pierson; as well as several loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Memorials in C.J.’s memory may be donated to the family c/o David Hoeppner. Envelopes available at the funeral home.
