He was born May 19, 1949 in Three Rivers, the son of Norman W. and Bette (Eddy) Garrison, and graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 1967. He joined the United States Marine Corps straight out of high school, completed basic training at Camp Pendleton and later served as an officer for the Three Rivers Police Department.

In 1976, he married Roseanne Brown and spent the next 19 years building and creating memories with their beautiful family until Roseanne’s passing in 1995.

Craig worked as a Purchasing Manager at the Johnson Corporation for more than 20 years. He enjoyed many golf outings, company picnics, and made lifelong friends during his time there. He was able to enjoy an early retirement hosting family and friends at his house on Fisher Lake.

An active community member, he participated with the BPOE, Eagles, and American Legion (AmVets). He enjoyed golfing in the Elks League, many trips to Cocoa Beach Florida, and loved watching the Michigan Wolverines. You could always spot him in his car around town with his coffee making leisurely laps around the city. He was a great friend, father, golf partner, and co-pilot.

Remaining to cherish his memory are his son, Eric (Amberly) Garrison; daughter, Lyndsey (Casey) Roggelien; grandchildren, Brady Garrison, Elle Garrison, Samantha Roggelien and Cooper Roggelien; sister, Connie (Robert) Fuelling; nephews, Andy (Michele) Fuelling and T.J. (Laurie) Fuelling.

  1. Craig was in a dream last night, so I decided to check on him. So sad to hear another childhood playmate passed away. Craig and his family were a very good influence on my elementary childhood on Pine St. Good to see he has many offspring to carry on the Garrison legacy.

  2. I was so sad to just find out about Craig’s passing. I had just talked to Craig’s daughter the other night about how he was doing since I hadn’t seen him much since we both retired from Johnson Corporation. We had a lot fun at the golf scrambles , picnics and the famous gift exchange Christmas parties. It’s nice to know that Craig and Roseanne are reunited. Peace be with you. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

  3. So many great memories of growing up alongside Craig from all day biking in the neighborhood as kids, hitting the golf ball for TRHS and eating sloppy Joes at his house. My heart aches. My sincerest regards to his family. Memories are all we have..
