Service Details

In accordance with the family’s wishes a public visitation will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hohner Funeral Home in Three Rivers, MI with cremation to follow. The family has also requested that no black or dull colors be worn as Cruz loved bright colors.

Obituary Notice

Cruz C. Trevino, age 42, of Three Rivers, MI passed away peacefully on Monday, December 4, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lamar, Colorado the daughter of Giberto and Ramona (Cruz) Trevino.

She loved to attend Faith Finders Church of Constantine, MI with Pastors John and Rita Austin and sang in the praise and worship group. Her favorite verse from the Bible was Jeremiah 29:11 In her free time she loved to exercise, sing, scrapbook, and photography. She worked for Bronson Methodist Hospital for five years as a Medical Assistant.

She is preceded in her passing by her Grandfather: Ismael Cruz

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her children: Omar (Nathalie) Galvan Jr., Michael C. Galvan, and Cruz A. Galvan; parents: Giberto and Ramona Trevino; siblings: Enrique, Jesusa, Adelita, Nicholas, and Daniel Trevino; nineteen nieces; eighteen nephews; three great nieces; two great nephews; and her friends at Bronson Pulmonary Medicine: Dr. Grambau, Christina, Edna, Whitney, Diane, Keri. Jeanine, Amanda, Brooklin, Natasha, and Deb.

Additional Information

Memorials made in Cruz’s memory may be made out to The Faith Finders Church of Constantine, MI. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.

The Spirit of the Lord is with you and lives big in you – you have pointed many to Jesus and because of your obedience they have come to know Him – you are faithful and you have served Him well – the light shines from the inside out … I will always see you as a worshiper and you sang and danced to his honor and glory ! The love of God dwells within you and covers you and surrounds you – God has not forsaken you but calls you his very own daughter of the most high ! I will forever cherish our mutual bond for “America’s Team” (the Dallas Cowboys, of course!) and the joyful impact she made on everyone she met. Rest in peace, beautiful soul.♥️

  10. I love you dearly Sister. I will miss you. You were my only truthful confidant. I know our Father welcomed you as he opened the gates of heaven. I also know the Angels sang praises as your spirit lifted through the skies. Remember you told me you wished you were sitting on a cloud? Well now you walk amongst them Flaca. I will miss your beautiful smile, your bubbly personality and most of all, your powerful prayers. I love you.
