Obituary Notice
Dale Richard Lockwood Jr., 73, of Three Rivers, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at Optalis Health and Rehab.
He was born December 12, 1952 in Three Rivers, the son of Dale H. and Jean (Kiel) Lockwood Sr., and graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 1971.
Dale worked at Peterson Spring in Three Rivers, Mi as a machinist till they closed and then he worked at Weber in Schoolcraft, Mi till early retirement.
Anyone who knew him knew his interests were always about the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers, he always had something to say about them. He enjoyed fishing when he could do it and also enjoyed golfing when able. He was pretty much always outside doing something, whether it be walking his dog Toby that was always by his side, his buddy, or always planting flowers and growing his tomatoes.
Dale was overall a great person, he spoke his mind about everything whether you wanted to hear the truth or not.
Remaining to cherish his memory are his daughter Tracy Faile and various family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

I will truly miss your father Tracy. I enjoyed talking with him when he was walking tobie and I was walking my fur baby. We would talk about the upper peninsula for fishing, places to eat at.. It just breaks my heart I was looking forward to him coming home so we could walk together with the dogs. He was a very knowledgeable man, learned a lot from him. May he rest in peace. My condolences to you Tracy.
Tracey, it saddens me that your dad passed away so unexpectedly. We had lots of years working and having fun together. He was one jolly man. I know he was so proud to have you as his daughter. He will be missed by all. Fly high my friend!!
