Service Details
His family will receive friends on Saturday, June 6, 2026 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Mick Schmid officiating. He will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery.

Obituary Notice
David Stanley “Stan” Wolfgang, 82, of Portage, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026 at his home.
He was born October 7, 1943 in Breckenridge, Michigan, the son of Joseph and Leah Wolfgang, and graduated from Breckenridge High School.
David served his country in the United States National Guard.
He married Darlene Blade on November 7, 1965 in Lansing; after returning to Three Rivers they had two daughters and raised their family. The couple moved to Chase, Michigan in 1986, later returning to Portage.
David was a hard worker who owned and operated Dave’s Mobile & Modulars until his retirement. He also enjoyed hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.
Remaining to cherish his memory are his daughters, Deanna (Scott) Houser and Stacey Cooper; grandchildren, Lance (Sara) Feister, Erica (Elijah) Holcomb, Sara Kennedy, Brittany Wolfgang, and David Cooper; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald (Pam) Wolfgang, Kevin (Angie) Wolfgang, and Kenneth (Jana) Wolfgang; and sister, Wendy (John) Lombard.
David was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Darlene Wolfgang; son-in-law, Matthew Cooper; great-grandson, Silas Cravens; sister, Kim Akright; and brother, Larry Wolfgang.
Additional Information
Donations in David’s memory may be directed to Heartland Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Girls, I’m so sorry to hear the loss of your dad. You all were my favorite neighbors. I do think of you girls, actually tell some babysitting stories. I missed you girls. Sending you hugs and prayers.
