Visitation will be held Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Engage Church, 56431 Wilbur Rd., Three Rivers, with a celebration of life to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church.

Dawn Marie Laucus, 37, of Three Rivers, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023 at her home.
She was born April 13, 1985 in Three Rivers, the daughter of Gerry and Constance (Brunner) Brooks, and graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 2003.
On July 11, 2013, Dawn married James Laucus.
She enjoyed diamond painting and other crafts.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her husband, James Laucus, step-daughter, Isabella Laucus; parents, Gerry and Constance Brooks of Three Rivers; mother-in-law, Mildred Geneva Hinton (Simpson) of Three Rivers; brother, David (Casey) Brooks of Three Rivers; brothers-in-law, Earl Wallace Long Jr. of Bayport, Johnathan Eli Schwartz of Constantine, and Abraham Job Hinton-Lind of Three Rivers; sisters-in-law, Melisa R.D. Simpson of Three Rivers and Rosetta Elizabeth Hinton-Lind of Three Rivers; nephew, Harley Brooks; nieces, AmyLynn Arnett, Estefani Alexander, and Mariana Alexander.

We had so many happy memories and experiences together. We moved apart but still always cared for one another. Bonded by childhood friendships. So sad to hear of her passing. My love goes out to her and to all of the family. So thankful of the times we did have together.

Rest in piece cuz you will definitely be missed. The day I had my daughter I was so excited to call u so u could see her just like u wanted then I remembered can’t pick up that phone to call you bc u were already there watching and I knew u were smiling telling me good job I miss u so much
