Obituary Notice
Dennis Lee Carpenter Sr., 71, of Three Rivers, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022 at Bronson Methodist Hospital.
He was born December 24, 1950 in Three Rivers, the son of Lester and Martha (Osborn) Carpenter, and graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 1970. He worked as a laborer at Weyerhaeuser.
Remaining to cherish his memory are his daughter, Starr (Chris) Gebhardt of Three Rivers; five brothers, John, Dale, Jim, Jack, and Doug; and three sisters, Mary, June, and Patsy.
He was preceded in death by two children, Dennis Jr. and Nancy; two brothers, Ken and Rob; and one sister, May.
Additional Information
Donations in Dennis’ memory may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at Hohner Funeral Home in care of his arrangements.

Dennis worked at Weyerhaeuser for years on the Corrugator. He was a great guy to work with as he was always a jokester. I’ll never forget when he said a few choice words to Terry Frye and ended up taped to a pole. We laughed every time we saw each other over that one. Take care up there and say hello to all those that went before us!
