Obituary Notice
Dianne May Hagenbuch, 78, of Three Rivers, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Centrica Rose Arbor Place surrounded by her loving family.
She was born March 26, 1947, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Irwin P. and Bertha M. (Munn) Forward, and graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 1965.
On November 14, 1964, Dianne married Kurt Hagenbuch, her high school sweetheart, beginning a nearly 61-year journey filled with love, laughter, and deep devotion to family.
She loved making people look and feel their best, which she did for many years as the owner of Dianne’s Beauty Shop. She also worked for many years as a phlebotomist at Three Rivers Health.
She loved riding her bicycle, tending to her flower gardens, and sitting on her deck at the lake. A lifelong dog lover, she had many cherished pets over the years. More than anything, Dianne treasured her family and loved spending time with them—especially attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her mother; husband, Kurt; daughters, Kandi Hagenbuch and Kimberly (David) Veenstra; grandchildren, Derek and Kiersten; brothers, Hal Forward and Walter (Emilie) Forward; sister, Ruth Ann (Lynn) Smith; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; sister-in-law, Mary Jean Forward; nieces, Erika Bloomfield and Kerry Katt; and nephew, Lynn Smith, Jr.
