  1. Duane, my grandpa, was a wonderful man. He always believed in me, even when he didn’t have to. He was an even better great grandpa to my daughter Lina, he loved her so much. She would spend most the summers with them up north, always going for putt putt rides on the golf cart or four wheeler. He would have gave his last of anything to anyone, he would have gave anyone what they wanted, there was no reason to ever take from him. He’s been saving me since I was younger than Lina, from cooking me some oatmeal when I would run to his house in the middle of night, to always being there for me without judgement and it’s going to be hard not having my grandpa around. He will be forever missed in many peoples heart. He definitely an angel watching over us all. I hope you rest in peace and I’ll see you again another day.

  2. Duane was a man who would not only give you the shirt off of his back, he would empty his wallet and repair your house and car before leaving. In the 25 years plus that I was friends with him I learned more things from him than I did from the rest of the world in over 65 years. The most important thing I was taught was to do the right thing no matter what. This way you can look at yourself in the mirror. Duane often left me speechless with the way his brain worked. He would come up with an idea that left me wondering why he wasn’t teaching mechanics or engineering or carpentry or … He just seemed to have a knack for doing things, especially if it was for Connie, the love of his life. Duane always made time to help me. It didn’t matter if it was getting me egg cartons or making sure that I had a driver to go and get hay or anything else. He was available and my money was worthless at best. Thank you Duane. For everything. From being a best friend to being a fishing partner for many years. Until we meet again “May God bless you and keep you.” Jeff Loucks

    • Thank You Jeff for the accurate story of my Brother in law Duane. My sister and Duane spent over 50 years together. Family was of upmost importance to them. Duane doted on those little ones.
He was a good, hard working man that will be greatly missed. I hope there is a nice fishing hole up there for him.
