Service Details

In accordance with Edna’s wishes to be cremated with no service. She will be buried in Riverside Cemetery with her mother and father. In the Spring she will be buried with immediate family attending.

Obituary Notice

Edna Mae Terry, 89, of Three Rivers, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023 at ProMedica Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation.

Edna was born February 16, 1933 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Hubert and Josephine (Karman) Bushouse.

Edna worked at Stagecoach as a waitress where she loved interacting and talking to customers.

On December 16, 1953 she married James Lee Terry. She enjoyed spending time traveling with her husband, they went down south to visit Jim’s family. They enjoyed the holidays with all the family at her house and the summer family reunions.

Edna loved quilting and embroidery, she made a lot of quilts for her family and friends.

She enjoyed the Holidays with all the families at her house and summer reunions. She loved spending time with her children, nieces and nephews.

Remaining to cherish her memory are her sons James (Nancy) Terry, Tom (Jill) Terry, and Dale Terry. Grandchildren Scott, Schawn, Jessica, Amber, Susan, Amy, Sheril, Susan. Sisters Linda (Richard) Darner, Janet Marshall Holland.

She was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Josephine, Husband Jim, and Brother Bob.

Donations in Edna’s memory may be directed to the American Heart Association.

  1. Have missed her at our Georgia get together last few years but enjoyed time we did have with her, especially when we all got together to bury Uncle Jimmy’s ashes as Terry Family plot in New Hope, Tennessee. Prayers to all the family
