  1. Like Mike Dunlap, I too worked at Johnson Corporation for a brief time while Eldon was in charge of maintenance. Eldon was the type of person everyone couldn’t help but like. If my memory serves me correctly, Eldon and Betty lived across the road from the Johnny cake school. Both Mike Dunlap and I attended Johnny cake as did Eldon (Doug), Kristine, and Ron. Believe he took over the fire department from Herb Burpee and you could always tell there was a fire call because you would see them running down the road to the fire barn. I think Betty was my mother’s hair dresser and both Eldon & Betty would occasionally go out with my parents, Virginia & Gilbert Sills. Grace and Peace to Eldon and family.

  2. I remember Eldon fondly. My parents Walt and Bernetta Fox worked with Eldon and Betty from the late ‘60s to the early ‘70s at the fire station. I remember having the fire alarm phone on our house and how loud it was.
Eldon was quite the leader as Fire Chief.

RIP and May your family find peace on their memories.

  3. Rest in Peace Eldon, I worked at Johnsons for a brief time when Eldon was in charge of maintenance. I still remember him checking to see if a 220volt line was hot by checking with the back of his hand. Eldon was fun and just a great guy, they don’t come any better than Eldon Jackson. He will be remembered fondly by anyone who knew him. I am saddened by his passing but know he had a life well lived.

  4. My Heart is broken. You were such a wonderful husband to my grandma Joanne. A great step dad to my mom Tammy and aunt Donyel. A super grandpa to my sister Amanda and myself. And the words best great grandpa to my girls Alexus, Haley and Brooke. They always had so much fun with you and grandma. I has so many wonderful memories that will forever live on. Rest peacefully now. I love you ❤️
