Elias will be laid to rest with his grandmother, and a celebration of both of their lives will be held Friday, September 20, 2024 at 11am at St. Peter and Paul’s, 434 High St., Ionia, MI 48846.

Obituary Notice

Elias James Silva, one week, of Allegan, received his angel wings on September 8, 2024 at Bronson Methodist Hospital.

He was born to Madelyn Piskun and Jonathan Silva on September 1, 2024 at the University of Michigan West in Wyoming.

Though his time was brief, Elias left an indelible mark on all who awaited his arrival with love and anticipation.

His presence, however fleeting, brought immense joy and a profound sense of connection to those who held him close in their hearts.

Elias was preceded in eternal peace alongside Jonathan’s mother, Nicole Susan Geldersma. A place where love is everlasting.

Though he left this world far too soon, the memory of his brief yet impactful life will forever be cherished by his family and all who were touched by his presence.

In his short stay on Earth, Elias reminded us of the beauty and fragility of life, leaving behind a purity of love that will never be forgotten.

May he rest in peace for eternity, forever cradled in the arms of those who loved him.
