Service Details

His family will receive friends on Thursday, September 10, 2026 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor Phil Harrington officiating.

Graveside services to follow where Gordon will be laid to rest at Moorepark Cemetery, Three Rivers.

Obituary Notice

Gordon Gregory Miller, 89, of Three Rivers, passed away September 4, 2026 in Three Rivers.

Gordon was born on October 15, 1936 in Schoolcraft, Michigan to George and Pearl Davis-Miller.

Gordon graduated from Schoolcraft High School and went on to attend Michigan Tech where he earned his electrical engineering degree. After graduation, Gordon worked for the local power company until his retirement in 1995.

In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also liked to spend time planting and caring for his beautiful flower beds. He could be found and heard most evenings and Saturdays watching sports on television, especially U of M football. Gordon was a proud lifetime member of the Free and Accepted Masons, Schoolcraft Lodge No. 118.

Gordon married Doris Holmes on October 8, 1960. They enjoyed 39 years of marriage before her death in October 1999. On March 29, 2002 Gordon married Martha Romig who survives him.

He leaves behind, to cherish his memories, his children Dan and Jill Miller, Suzie Miller, Phil and April Miller, and Janice and Jay Landes. His grandchildren Brandon (Kacie), Becky (Justin), Greg, Emilie (Dalton), Colleen (Joe), Tristan (Sarah), Sam, Elaine, Hunter and Dale, and 12 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister, Sandra Sloan, and nieces and nephews.

Gordon is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Doris, and sisters Nadine and Esther.

He will be remembered as a great father, grandfather, husband, brother and uncle.

Gordon was very giving of his time and will be remembered for his selfless acts of generosity. Whether it was helping with math homework or home repairs, you could count on him.

Donations in Gordon’s memory may be directed to the Charity of One’s Choice. Envelopes will be available at Hohner Funeral Home.

  1. I met Gordon many years ago at church. He was truly a caring, wonderful person. My heart goes out to you Martha & the family. You are in our prayers
