Service Details
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 2 at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Free Methodist Church, 5665 Eastern Avenue, Kentwood, MI 49508. Luncheon will immediately follow service. Interment will occur at Riverside Cemetery in Three Rivers at a later date.

Gwendolyn Eunice Buys Goodwin McLaughlin, age 97, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. She was born born on January 21, 1921 in Finley, North Dakota, the twelfth child of Jessie Lossing Buys and Marlin P. Buys.
Gwendolyn owned Gwen’s Beauty Shop in Three Rivers, Michigan for many years. She was also an avid golfer who proudly shot from the men’s tees and attended New Hope Free Methodist Church, Kentwood, Michigan
Gwendolyn was preceded in death by husbands, Robert L. Goodwin, Lisle McLaughlin, Leo Morgenstern; children, Linda L. and David Ingraham, Barbara K. Dilley, and Robert L. Goodwin, Jr.; eleven siblings
Surviving to cherish her memory are daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Richard Thomas; grandsons, Andrew Reish, Marcus Reish, David Ingraham, Robert Ingraham (Jonathan Dilley, Benjamin Dilley, Christopher Dilley, Corey Goodwin, Joel Goodwin; granddaughters, Heather Carroll and Amy Serniak; 14 great-grandchildren, and special friend, Alice Ploeg.

Memorials may be made to the Glen Allen Prayer Garden at New Hope Free Methodist Church. Donations may also be sent to Hohner Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1018, Three Rivers, MI 49093 in care of arrangements.
