A celebration of Hobey’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St, Three Rivers, MI 49093.
Obituary Notice
Hobey Edsel Edmisten Jr, age 60, of White Pigeon, MI passed away to be with the lord surrounded by his family in the early morning hours of Friday, May 3, 2019. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI on October 31, 1958 the son of Hobey Edsel and Tenefern Louise (Clayton) Edmisten Sr.
Hobey was a graduate of Three Rivers High School. He greatly enjoyed camping, fishing, watching/collecting movies, and building / racing radio control cars. Hobey enjoyed most of all his time spent with family and friends.
He was preceded in passing by his parents and his son Mark Allen Edmisten.
He is survived by his remaining children Michael (Cori) Edmisten of Elkhart IN, Manda Edmisten of White Pigeon MI, Matthew (Morgan) Edmisten of Bull Shoals AR, and Martin (Sasha) Edmisten of Burr Oak MI. Two siblings Carrie (Terry) Smead of Edwardsburg and Ron (Tina) Edmisten of Jones MI. Fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

So sorry for your loss. I remember some of the visits you guys made to NC when we were kids. I remember Sonny as always a happy kid. Remember how we always played in the creek. And those family reunions were awesome. Wish I could have known my cousin as an adult. Sounds like he was a amazing person. Prayers during this difficult time. Love to all.
