Service Details
A service will be held at Hohner Funeral Home, October 3rd, 2026; 1004 Arnold St; Three Rivers, MI 49093. The family will accept visitors from 10:00 to 11:00 am with the celebration of life to begin at 11:00am. A luncheon will follow the service at the UAW Hall; 15802 Hoffman Rd, Three Rivers, MI 49093
Obituary Notice
Jacqueline Michele “Jackie” Drake, 62, of Three Rivers, passed away Friday, September 11, 2026, at Select Specialty Hospital in Battle Creek, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 11, 1964, in Three Rivers, the daughter of Jerry and Dorothy (Hice) Sangalli and graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 1982.
Jackie worked at Wolverine Motor Supply and then at Drake’s Fuel Service before finishing her career at Crystal Flash, where she loved her customers and the relationships she built with them. On March 31, 1984, she married James “Jimmy” Drake. Together, they enjoyed attending truck shows, bowling, golf, ceramics, fishing with the Culps, camping, and spending time with family. Over the years, Jackie found joy in many things. She enjoyed attending horse shows on the Appaloosa circuit and watching Jimmy and Samantha compete. It was through those horse shows and her time with Samantha and Katie that she acquired the beloved nickname “Two Snaps.” She loved camping yearly at Walt Disney World with her family and, later in life, enjoyed traveling to Fort Myers Beach for years of shelling.
Jackie loved her family and friends deeply and would do anything for them. She was never afraid to speak her mind, but beneath it all, she had a heart of gold. She was truly one in a million. Jackie was also an organ donor. Her final gift was the gift of her eyes, allowing a part of her to live on by giving someone else the gift of sight.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her husband, Jimmy Drake; daughter, Samantha (Brad) Evans; brothers, Joe Micheals, Jerome (J.W. Salveson) Sangalli, and John (Billy LaFountaine) Sangalli; sister, Jill (Neil) Sangalli-Bissett; parents-in-law, Norman and Robbi Drake; brother-in-law, Mark (Ann) Drake; sister-in-law, Alicia (Christopher) Marconi; and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Dorothy Sangalli.

In lieu of flowers, you can become and organ donor or donations in Jackie’s memory may be directed to St. Joseph County Animal Control. Envelopes will be available at Hohner Funeral Home.

Jimmy, Sam, Brad, Jill and family. We got to know you all very well from our Fort Myers Beach vacations. Nancy and Jackie connected right off the bat, they became like sisters. Those days were the best, we waited all year to spend a couple of fun weeks with you all, it was like a family reunion. Jackie would keep our beach area cleaned up and organized, of course it would naturally come with little sassy comments. Jackie would spend hours shelling on the beach, I would say, “here’s a nice shell”(it would have a hole in it), she would say “you’re a dumb ass!”.
We truly had a fun filled week when Jim and Jackie came to visit us in Canada, we went non stop from house to house and were hosted by all the FMB friends.
Miss those days a lot!

Jimmy and Sam- my heartfelt condolences to you both. I will cherish the memories I have of Jackie from our time on the beach in Fort Myers and when you visited New Brunswick a few years back. Sending all my love to you both and the biggest hug I can muster.

I am sorry for your loss. I remember Jackie being incredibly popular in H.S. She had 6+ flower corsages on her cheerleading uniform every homecoming. My sister Carol enjoyed being her friend and commented on her being a “Spitfire” of energy. God’s blessings to you all.
