Obituary Notice
Jeffrey Alan Wheat, 66, of Three Rivers, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at his home.
He was born April 17, 1959 in Kalamazoo, the son of Verle H. and Betty L. (Harrington) Wheat, and graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 1977.
Jeff served his country in the United States Air Force for eight years.
He loved woodworking.
Remaining to cherish his memory are his siblings, Tom (Terry), Rick (Sue) and David; sisters-in-law, Nancy and Vicki Wheat; nieces and nephews, Anita (Jack) Keene, Rich (Lainie) Wheat, Lisa (Todd) Skrzypek, Lori (Tony) Skrzypek, Amy (Tony) Page, and Chip (Sarah) Wheat; many great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Terry; and brother, Jim.
Jeff’s family would like to thank Three Rivers Hospice for their compassionate care for him.

I didn’t know Jeff, but I’m truly sorry for your loss. My sympathies go out to all of his family members during this difficult time.
We lost a good man in Jeff Wheat. For the last 4 years I tagged Jeff as our “super listener” as he tuned in to listen to our area football and basketball games. He rarely missed a broadcast — right up to his final days here. He is now free of his pain and he put up a valiant battle. He will not be forgotten.
So sorry for Jeff’s death. Love to the remaining family.
I used to know Tom Wheat. I am sorry for the loss and my condolences to the family.
