Service Details
Visitation will be held April 22, 2022 beginning at 10 a.m. at Bethany Chapel, 15130 Millard St. in Three Rivers, with a service to follow at 11:30 a.m., with Pastor Tim Moore officiating. Interment will be in the White Pigeon Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Fred, Jason and Abram Jacobs, Randy Pelfrey, Marlin Walters and Norm McClain.
Obituary Notice
Joan C. Jacobs, age 92 of Kalamazoo, passed away on April 8, 2022. She was born June 29, 1929 in Three Rivers the daughter of Charles Peters and Ella Buck.
During her life, Joan was a volunteer at the Three Rivers Hospital, and a member of the hospital’s Auxiliary. She married her husband, Richard Jacobs, on Jan. 1, 1948 in White Pigeon.
Joan is survived by her son Alfred (Jennie) Jacobs of Kalamazoo, six grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard; brothers Charles, Philip, and Douglas Peters; sisters Charlette Correy, Gertrude Whistler, and Janet Wentz; daughter Jill Pagels; and grandson Daniel Pelfrey.

To Joan’s family. I am sorry about your loss; in fact, she is a loss for all of us. I remember visiting she and Dick on many occasions. There was usually a little something offered to me that she had made. She always had a smile and made me feel welcome. I will remember her fondly. May she now Rest In Peace.
