Obituary Notice
Judith (Judy) Ann Minor, 74, of Three Rivers, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, November 17, 2019. Judy was born in Kalamazoo to John and Doris Crockett on May 15, 1945. She went to Loy Norrix High School and graduated in 1963. She then attended Albion College. On December 22, 1967, she married Jim Minor. Judy was told that she would never be able to have children, but on May 31, 1969 and October 25, 1970 respectively, she and Jim proudly welcomed their sons Stephen and Paul; two sons who “never did any wrong” and who continued to make her proud.
Judy was known for her love of family. She enjoyed nothing more than having everyone around her, especially during the holidays. She always had a ready smile and an unmistakable laugh. Though diagnosed with MS more than forty years ago, she never let it stop her from enjoying life. She loved coupon shopping, listening to books on tape, chocolate, and lunch at Pizza Hut. Judy loved anything snowman – from Christmas ornaments, to candy dishes, to her favorite quilt. Though tiny in stature, Judy had a huge heart. Anyone that spent any time with her became her friend because she never met a stranger.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Doris Crockett, and her brothers Tom and Richard Crockett. She is survived by her husband Jim; her sons Stephen (Jackie) and Paul (Pam); her grandchildren, William (Rachel) Minor, Stephanie Minor, Montana (Steven) Miller, Jamie Minor, and Isaac Minor; her great-granddaughters, Taelynn, Olivia, and Ava Miller; her sister Connie Houts and her brother David (Robin) Crockett.

Judy, my younger sister, has found her rest. A sad time for the family, for sure, but now she has found comfort and rest.
