Kawanna Lenese George, 39, born September 7, 1979 at St. Bernard Hospital in Chicago, IL to Carmen J. George and Darren Span, passed suddenly in her sleep on Friday, May 3, 2019.
Kawanna graduated from Three Rivers High School in the class of 1997.
Kawanna is survived by her three children: son, Rae’ Kwan Evans and two daughters, Rae’ Anna Wardell and Carmya George of Three Rivers; her mother Carmen J. George of Three Rivers and her father Dannen Span of Chicago, IL; her grandmother Shirley A. George of Three Rivers; six siblings, Marquitta Shelton of Three Rivers, Toya Reese of Kalamazoo, Daniell. Carolyn, Beryl, Aaron and Jasmine, all of Chicago, IL.
She was preceded in death by her Grandmother Eddie B. Span and Grandfather Charles W. George. Kawanna is cherished by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
