A memorial will take place on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers.

Obituary Notice

Keith Allen Lewis, 69, of Three Rivers, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at his home.

Keith was born March 11, 1952 in Sturgis, Michigan, the son of Harry Richard and S. June (Carson) Lewis.

He graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1970 where he was a two sport standout. He later attended Western Michigan University where he was on the Dean’s list and graduated with a degree in Public Administration.

Keith was a valued Team Member at Menards for over 20 years starting in the plumbing department and eventually working his way up to an Inventory Controller where he made many lasting friendships. He was an avid sports fan which he shared with his son Joshua. He also enjoyed cooking big meals for his family during the Holidays.

Keith is survived by his children Justin (Paul) Lewis, Lindsay (Cody) Campbell, Joshua (Catherine) Lewis and their mother Elizabeth Buxton. Four grandchildren Chaise, Aden, Holden and Ace.

He was preceded in death by his parents and very special friend Patricia Buelow.

  1. I have know Keith and his parents for most of his life. Keith was our ring bearer in our wedding 62 years ago. Keith has always been close to our family and a happy friendly person. He will be missed.

    • Thanks Tay. I was sorry to hear about Mary. I was actually at Three Rivers ER when you were there with her and I overheard you say she was being moved to Kalamazoo and then I heard she had passed. Dad said he was going to send you a card and I asked him to sign my name. Not sure if he ever got that done. —Justin

  2. We are neighbors to Keith and didn’t really know him only spoke a few times but I could set my watch by him every morning when he left for work. Always saw him while I was making coffee and will miss him in that respect. God Bless his family and RIP neighbor you will be missed.

  3. My thoughts and prayer are with you all. Keith was a great guy with a since of humor to match. He always had a great line or a piece of candy that could make a bad day so much better. He will be greatly missed. Rest easy my friend.

  4. I am deeply saddened by the passing of my classmate Keith. He made football fun with his smile and always positive attitude. We always talked our ears off when we met at Menards and always parted with a smile. My condolences to the family as I know you are all blessed by having him as a mentor.

  7. To Keith’s family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have know Keith since high school and kept up with him at Menards. He was a great guy and I always enjoyed his humor.
    I am so sad that he has passed away.
