A funeral service will be held Friday, March 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Brown Cemetery on County Road 44 in Millersburg, IN, with Pastor Richard Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow.
Obituary Notice
Lamar Rink, 89, of Three Rivers, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021.
He was born April 12, 1931 in Noble County, IN, the son of George and Clara (Berkey) Rink.
Lamar was a cement finisher who worked for Maycomber/Sollit Concrete.
He enjoyed his family, especially 70 years of marriage with Edna Sherer, whom he wed April 15, 1950 in Goshen, IN. He also was a handyman who enjoyed woodworking, mushrooming, and garage saling.
Remaining to cherish Lamar’s memory are his wife; two daughters, Diana Alber and Donna (Jim) Gerkin, both of Three Rivers; grandchildren, Tony (Amy) Gerkin, Chad (JoAnna Bailey) Gerkin, Kevin (Kate) Alber and Eric (April) Alber; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Todd Alber, and several siblings.

Sorry for your loss. Altho I did not get to see uncle Lamar that much I have great admiration for him and aunt Francis. I am glad I got to see him this last summer. I will never forget him
