Service Details
Her family will receive friends Friday, July 24, 2026 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Porter Baptist Church, 12032 Teasdale Lake St., Constantine. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Randy Peterson officiating. She will be laid to rest in Shavehead Lake Cemetery.

Marcianne Dohner, 93, of Jones, passed away Monday, July 20, 2026 at home surrounded by loved ones.
She was born April 10, 1933 in Porter Township, the daughter of Norman D. and Hazel (Neterer) Harvey, and graduated from Constantine High School with the Class of 1950.
Marcianne worked in customer service in the restaurant industry but also was extremely talented in furniture repair and upholstery.
She married Frances James in 1959; they welcomed a daughter together in 1962.
Marcianne was very active in her church, Porter Baptist, and social life. She enjoyed crocheting, the outdoors, and gardening, but most of all she loved her family.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her grandsons, Bo (Amanda) Dunham and Tim (Denice) Dunham; granddaughters, Brooke (T.J.) Leggett and Dianna (Ryan) Galbreath; great-grandchildren, Robert Yoder, Joseph Anglemyer, Mason Anglemyer, Lilliana Hart, Zane Galbreath, Kase Galbreath, Maebynn Leggett, and Eisen Leggett; brother, Dan (Carol) Harvey; and many other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her daughter, Sandra Ann Combs.

Donations in Marcianne’s name may be directed to Porter Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at Hohner Funeral Home and at the church.

We are so sorry for your loss of “Grandma.” She was so kind and welcoming to us with her big, beautiful smile, and we’ll always remember her warmth and gentle spirit. We certainly are going to miss sitting with her during family birthday dinners. I know how much she meant to you all, and I hope you find comfort in the many wonderful memories you shared with her. May her love and the legacy she leaves behind continue to bring you strength in the days ahead. Keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers. Just know the next time you see her, it will be forever.
