Service Details

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of Mary’s service at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022 at the Hohner Funeral Home. A video of the service is available here. Following interment at Riverside Cemetery, Three Rivers, the family would like to invite friends to Riverside Church for a time of celebration in Mary’s memory.

Obituary Notice

Mrs. Mary Frances “Hasse” Rosenbecker, age 82, passed away peacefully at Three Rivers Health on January 24, 2022 following a lengthy illness. She was born on November 27, 1939 in East Chicago, Indiana, the daughter of the late Fred and Frances (Hiers) Collins.

Mary graduated from Bishop Noll High School and moved with her husband Jim to Three Rivers in 1975, where they raised their beloved children. Mary and her late husband Jim Hasse owned and operated Goldie’s Restaurant for almost 30 years where they made many friendships, and mentored many young kids who worked with them throughout the years. Mary was a faithful member of Riverside Church and was an avid volunteer in the Three Rivers Schools both Sports and Band boosters while her children attended. Mary loved to travel and take cruises with her sister Cathy. Above all Mary loved her family and especially her grandchildren and being together at her Pleasant Lake home.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James “Jim” Hasse and her second husband, Frank Rosenbecker, and also her special daughter Karen Hasse.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, two daughters, Linda (Don) Stover and MaryBeth Stahl; two sons, Gary (Corina Castillo) Stahl, and David (Peggy) Hasse; one sister, Cathy Collins; six beloved grandchildren, Matthew Stover, Amy (Kyle) Jacobson, Mitchell Stahl, Colby and Kaid Hasse and Jayden Hasse; two adored great-grandsons, Grayson and Emre Jacobson.

Additional Information

Memorials may be donated to Riverside Church or the American Cancer Society. Envelopes available at the funeral home.

  1. Dave, Peggy and family, we are so sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. Such a sweet lady! She was always helping at Lake Section and at the ball games and for anything that was needed. And always smiling. The Harshberger Family

  2. My memories with Mary are very dear and I cherish them. You are lucky to have had her love for many years. It’s a privilege for me to call her “my friend” … I enjoyed traveling with her and being included in family and holiday celebrations. I can still hear her laugh .. Mary was such a great boss to all the kids and our girls, and I felt safe with them working at Goldies during their high school and college years.
