Dear Elaine and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Mike’s death. I didn’t know it happened until a few minutes ago. I saw the boat parade go by my house, but didn’t know it was an honor of him. I would’ve joined in.
It was a pleasure to have known Mike. We went fishing a couple of times. Occasionally we e saw each other and chatted at Health Trak. He was always up, happy and fun.
If there’s anything I can do for you don’t hesitate to call.

My heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to my family on the sudden passing of Cousin Mike. Gone, but will never be forgotten.
Mike & his wonderful smile now sleep with the Angels. He and the entire Didelot family have been part of my life since the 1950’s in Chesterton. So many warm memories! Mike now spends eternity with our Lord & Savior! Fond regards, John W Dresh, Sr
Mike will be missed by so many people. One of the best neighbors you could ever have. Our prayers are with Elaine.
My cousin Mike and I were pretty close as youngsters. I was a year and a day older than him which made June 15th and 16th pretty special for us. We both attended Saint Patrick’s grade school together and played basketball there. Mike and his brother John went fishing with my dad and other friends and family members in Wisconsin for several years—Mike lovingly referred to dad as “Unc” and they enjoyed (along with John) playing pranks on each other. Dad always had a special place in his heart for Mike and John for sure. I’m sure Mike has now Joined with his brother Dick and my dad Jay in fishing heaven seeing who is going to catch the most and/or the biggest bluegill of the day!
I’m sure that Dick met Mike at the pearly gates, fishing poles in hand!
