A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Three Rivers Eagles # 2303; 715 E. Hoffman St; Three Rivers, MI 49093.

Obituary Notice

Pat Evans, age 67, of Three Rivers passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Bronson Methodist Hospital.  He was born on April 2, 1955 . Pat is the son of Jesse and Elizabeth (Hartman) Evans.

Pat loved his family and had a passion for music. His favorite was Rock-n- Roll. Pat was a simple, humble, loyal, and compassionate man.  He always put other people’s needs before his own. One of his passions was loving his fur babies, Alonzo and Poppy.

Pat was preceded in passing by his parents; sisters, Marion and Jean; brother, Robert Moke Evans; nephews, Todd and Richard, along with two son-in-laws, Kris and Shaun.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory of his wife, Cheri Evans, whom he married on June 7th 2008. His daughters, Janelle (Rich) Ultz, Selina (Brian) Rice, Haruka (Jason) Griffith, and Hazel (Jacob) Shingledecker; sister, Joni Zimmerman brother, Mark Evans.  Pat also left behind nineteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.

Additional Information

Memorial donations may be directed to 4 paws for ability, https://www.4pawsforability.org/ in care of his granddaughter, Harmony Griffith.  Pat was passionate and excited to be able to help her in their quest to provide a service dog for her.  A benefit for her cause will also be held June 5th at Three Rivers Eagles.

Envelopes will be available at Three Rivers Eagles and also may be sent to Hohner Funeral Home in care of arrangements.

  1. Cheri, my deepest symphony on your loss of a wonderful husband. Ivey known Pat since I was in 7th grade. We were neighbors and Joan was my best friend. His parents were like my parents to me. Yes he loved rock n roll and boy could he sing his singing was amazing!! He taught me how to drive a stick shift in their yard in a VW bug. So my thoughts and prayers to you and your family on your loss. 🙏🙏🙏

    I know your causing some great fun in heaven, listening to some great rock and roll tunes! I’m sure you have visited us here on earth just to make sure we are behaving .
    Gosh I wish we had a little more time with you Pat . We are trying to be strong with you not here with us . Our hearts feel rocked and not whole now .
    Death may have taken you from us but I am finding comfort in knowing your not in pain anymore .
    I would appreciate you coming to visit us from time to time from heaven . As you know my sisters janelle Ultz hazel Shingledecker Haruka Griffith and of corse mother are fun trouble ! As you know I am the” good one “ but I will never have a big heart of gold like you did ! Just a small request !
    You are sorely and deeply missed already Death can never take away all of wonderful humorous loving memories we have shared .
    Thank you for showing my mom what true love was Pat . I’m very grateful for having you in my moms life and mine. Thank you for always putting mom first and tolerating us girls with a smile .
    I know you’re life wasn’t as simple after we came into it but you handled it with kindness and lots of patience. You will always be missed and never forget!
