Service Details
Visitation will be held Friday, March 8, 2024 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers. A funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home with Pastor LaChanuj Shelton officiating.
Obituary Notice
Peter Bernard Thurman, 30, of Leonidas and formerly of Three Rivers, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024 at his home.
He was born May 8, 1993, in Three Rivers the son of Audrey (Thurman) Taylor and graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 2011.
Peter worked at Grand Rental Station and owned his own lawncare business. He loved spending time with family and friends, fishing, and doing off-road activities.
Remaining to cherish his memory are his mother, Audrey (Brian) Taylor; father, Peter Hamilton; siblings, Victoria Thurman, Zachary Taylor, and Beau Taylor; son, Li’Andre Thurman; nephews, Jaydan Thurman and Julian Thurman; uncles and aunts.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sidney and Beatrice Thurman.
Additional Information
Donations in Peter’s memory may be directed to his family in care of Audrey Taylor. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.

This is beyond unbelievable. I remember pooh as a little kid. My condolences to his family. So young but he is at peace with his grandparents.

Peter you will always be in my heart, thoughts and prayers, as you have always been! Since the day you walked into my home as a young boy with my other kiddos with that amazing big as can be smile that just literally lit up the room, I knew you were someone I could trust and loved to have around!!!! He stepped right up to the plate & without knowing me hardly at all, came over one night after work n took the tire off my car & went & had it fixed & the next morning, I received a text sayin my tire was fixed & I could drive now. Soon after that my dad was diagnosed w heart failure & couldn’t mow. He knew I had my hands full n once again, stepped up to the plate & did my dad’s lawn! There aren’t too many people out there that would do all that, especially at his age! You knew his mom & dad had to have instilled values in him, growing up. I will forever miss him & send my Deepest & most sincere, condolences! He will be deeply missed!
