Service Details

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jamey Smith officiating.

Obituary Notice

Randy Lee Thomas, 62, of Three Rivers, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 surrounded by his family.

He was born December 19, 1961 in Niles, the son of Harvel L. and Imogene M. (Looney) Thomas, and graduated from Niles High School with the Class of 1980.

Randy worked as a sales manager at R&R Trailers, where he was an integral part of the team for nearly two decades.

He was a very generous and giving man – always willing to help anyone when they were in need – and loved his family and friends dearly.

Randy was a very outgoing and adventurous man. He enjoyed working on cars, riding motorcycles, off road vehicles, and snowmobiles. He would attend the races at Michigan International Speedway yearly. He liked spending time in Irons, MI with his friends and favorite dog Zoey, who he took everywhere with him.

Remaining to cherish Randy’s memory are his mother, Imogene Thomas; former spouse, Jacqueline Thomas; daughters, Thera Thomas and Amber (Tom) Byers; sons, Cory Thomas and Zachary Thomas; grandson, Connor Byers; brother, Danny Thomas; sister, Kathy Thomas; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; two sisters, Wilma Zimmerman and Brenda Hayes; and brother, Tommy Thomas.

Many times if you did not come to Irons, Michigan someone would always ask “is Randy coming up this weekend”.
