Richard’s family will receive friends for visitation from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Hohner Funeral Home.
Obituary Notice
Richard Lee Kemp, age 75, of Three Rivers passed away on Friday, July 8, 2024 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. He was born in Sturgis, MI on July 27, 1948 the son of Monroe and Katie (Miller) Kemp.
Richard was raised in Constantine, MI where he spent his childhood years. He then went onto to serve his country during the Vietnam Era until his honorable discharge. Richard was an avid Michigan fan and enjoyed watching football.
He was preceded in passing by his parents; son, Timothy Kemp; brothers, Ron Kemp, Monroe Kemp, Larry Kemp, and Roman Miller.
Surviving to cherish Richard’s memory are daughter, Jennifer (Dave) Millsap; brothers, Simon (Lynn) Kemp, Ken Kemp, and Andy Kemp; grandchildren, Brittany, Kristina, Shawn, C.J., and Hunter; great grandchildren, Matthew, Camille, and Chase.

I’m so sorry to hear this. My family grew up with the Kemp’s and I have so many fond memories from those days. Many fun times. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
