Service Details

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Oct.  17th, 2019 at the Hohner Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 18th, 2019 at Crossroads Missionary Church, 22605 M-60, Mendon, MI 49072 with Pastor Bruce Moore and Pastor David Austin officiating..

Interment will follow at Battle Creek Memorial Park Cemetery, Battle Creek, MI following services.

  

Obituary Notice

Mr. Robert Everett Weaver, age 81, of Mendon, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, Oct. 14th, 2019. Robert was born on May 27th, 1938 in Delton, MI., the son of the late Merle and Bessie (Henry) Weaver.

Bob worked as a Millwright and in his later years in maintenance for Lear Corporation of Mendon for thirty-three years. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church where he was very active. On August 18th, 1956 Bob was united in marriage to the love of his life Mrs. Carol (Buyce) Weaver. Bob cherished his family especially his many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in passing by son, Guy Weaver in 2001 and daughter Cindy Sussdorf in 2018.

Surviving to cherish his memory is wife of sixty-three years, Carol Weaver; son Bob Weaver Jr; daughters, Lisa (Mark) Thompson and Laurie (Bob) Beldon, daughter in-law, Melissa Weaver-Carpenter; son-in law, Max Sussdorf; thirty-two grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.

Memorials made in Robert’s memory may be directed to the family c/o Carol Weaver. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church.

  1. hey its been almost 5 years and i miss you more than words can describe, your smile, your scent, your humor and laugh, i miss it all, we all miss you dearly. Love your granddaughter.
