In accordance with family wishes cremation will be conducted and graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Riverside Cemetery, Three Rivers with Rev. Heather McDougall officiating.   

Obituary Notice

Ms. Sally Lee Mast, age 68, of Three Rivers, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at the Borgess Medical Center following a lengthy illness.  She was born in Three Rivers, MI., on May 5, 1951 the daughter of LeVant Mast and Gene (Messinger) Mast.

Sally graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1969.  Following graduation she was employed at Three Rivers Press, owned and operated Montgomery Wards and Radio Shack, and worked in the Marketing Department at Kadant Johnson for twenty-five years.

Ms. Mast was preceded in death by her father, Lt. Col. LeVant Mast; grandparents, Floyd and Erie Messinger, uncle, Floyd Messinger Jr.; uncle and aunt, Robert and Mary Pitts; cousins, Thomas and Jackie Pitts.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her mother, Mrs. Gene Mast; sister, Joan Davis, nephew, Troy Davis, and great nephew, Troy Davis II; niece, Marie Davis; as well as many friends.

Additional Information

Memorials may be donated to the St. Joseph County Animal Rescue Fund (A.R.F.) or the Disabled American Veteran (D.A.V.) Fund.  Envelopes available at Hohner Funeral Home in care of arrangements.

  1. Sally worked for the The Three Rivers Press for a long time. Was a fabulous employee. Was easy always to communicate with and was always happy. She took tremendous pride in her work and was extremely devoted to her friends and family. This world has lost a very special person. Condolences to the family.

  2. I worked with Sally for many years at The Johnson Corporation, now Kandant Johnson. Sally will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.
