A celebration of Tim’s life will be held Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at the Farm-“Myers Rocky River Farm”, 15552 Hoffman Rd., Three Rivers.

Obituary Notice

Timothy William Myers, 71, of Three Rivers, passed away Monday, June 8, 2026 at Bronson Methodist Hospital.

He was born February 17, 1955 in Lancaster, Ohio, the son of George and Carol (Webb) Myers, and graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 1973.

Tim was raised in farming but worked as a pilot/flight instructor at the Three Rivers airport, where he was given the nickname “The Flying Moo.” He flew for Planemaster out of DuPage, Illinois, and enjoyed going out to Kansas, New York, and South Carolina for work.

He enjoyed Three Rivers wrestling in high school and was a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. He enjoyed being an ardent fan of Three Rivers sports, especially watching his great-nieces and nephews.

Remaining to cherish his memory are his sons, Jesse and Ethan Myers; sisters, Sharon Bistodeau and Joanna (Len) Knight; sister-in-law, Kathy Myers; many nieces and nephews. Also a few great-nieces and nephews who thought of Tim as Grandpa!

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mark Myers; and brother-in-law, Wayne Bistodeau.

He really loved working with all of his hay buyers. All of you became very good friends.

Donations in Tim’s memory may be directed to the American Cancer Society of Michigan. Envelopes will be available at Hohner Funeral Home.

  1. The photo depicts well the man I knew for nearly 4 decades – friendly, unaffected, upbeat. He worked long and hard, dividing his time working the ground or plying the air, and did as well as he could for his family. He was a good man and I will miss our not infrequent coffees together. Best wishes to his sons, who now must carry on without their guidestar.

  2. So sad. Cancer monster got another great guy. Have known Tim and his boys for many years. I spend quite a few hours flying with Tim and learned a lot from him and got re-certified flying again. Prayers for his family. Fly HI Tim, GOD SPEED!!

  3. I am shocked. he was so healthy last time I saw him a couple of years ago. He was our neighbor and friend during high school days. My condolences to the family.
