Service Details

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of memorial services beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Anderson officiating. 

Interment of cremains will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Three Rivers following services.

Obituary Notice

Viola E. Keller, 85, of Three Rivers, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020 at Grace Healthcare Center. She was born on Dec. 11, 1934 in Saginaw, Mich., the daughter of Laurence and Eva (Peters) Ely.
On October 17, 1953, she was united in marriage to Henry Keller. He preceded her in death in 2010.
She retired from Lear Plastics after seventeen years as a quality inspector. Viola enjoyed traveling, sewing and quilting many blankets for her children and grandchildren. She was a loving person who made friends with everyone she met and cherished time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Arthur (Connie) Keller of Three Rivers; daughters, Judy (David) Crouse of Wellston, MI, Sarah Mercer of Three Rivers and Jane (Wayne) Wagner of Sturgis; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Elizabeth “Betty” Grunert of TX, and Laura Quarandillo of Elkhart, Ind; sister-in-law, Virginia “Ann Ely”.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry; daughter, Carol Sue Keller; daughter-in-law, Velma “Pep” Keller; great granddaughters, Jordan and Ryleigh Hart; brother, Howard Ely, and sister, Alice Donnenworth.

Donations in Viola’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes available at the funeral home.

  1. Aunt Vi was a very sweet lady and will be missed by all that knew her. My prayers go to her family as I know what they are going through since I lost my mother last year. Debi and I have donated to the cancer society in remembrance of Aunt Vi.

    So very sorry for your loss.
    Vi was one of the kindest, hardest working ladies l have ever met.
    She loved her family more then anything. She worked hard to make sure her children had what they needed. Always a gentle smile.
