Service Details

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of services beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor David Farrell officiating.

Interment will be at Sherwood Cemetery, Sherwood, MI.

Obituary Notice

Violet Frances Quinn, age 77, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Three Rivers Health. She was born in Colt, Arkansas on December 20, 1943 the daughter of Jack S. and Jewel F. (Burkett) Smith.

Violet was a long time resident of Three Rivers. She was a graduate of Colon High School and went on to work at Dayco Rubber, Travel Accessories, Walmart, and Dollar General. She enjoyed spending time taking afternoon naps, crocheting, and spending time with her beloved family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl S. Quinn; son, David E. Quinn; granddaughter, Tamara Watson; sister, Blanche Parr; brothers, J.W. Smith and Jack Kenneth Smith.

Remaining to cherish her loving memory are daughter, Penny F. (Michael) Hackenberg; son, Larry L. (Karen) Quinn; sister, Janie E. Lantz; grandchildren, Landon Hackenberg (Arika Ware), Brandy Hackenberg (Kaleb McCarroll), Laren Quinn, Mary (Austin) Lemacks; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.

Additional Information

Memorial donations may be directed to American Heart Association and Fabius-Park Twp. Fire Department. Envelopes available at Hohner Funeral Home in care of arrangements.

  2. We knew Violet and her husband Earl and son David, I worked with Earl at Essex back in the 60’s and early 70’s .
    I am sorry to hear of Violets passing . Condolences to the family .
